About Inclusive Development Network Africa

INDEV Network Africa is a non-profit organization established in Cameroon. We are a dedicated team of individuals passionate about creating a more inclusive and equitable Africa for Persons with disabilities. Our collaborative approach with local NGOs has enabled us to implement impactful workshops, trainings, outreach programs, research, and empowerment initiatives.

Through our commitment to Human Rights advocacy, disability rights, education, and grassroots initiatives, we empower individuals and communities in Africa to be more inclusive. We aim to ensure that every person, regardless of their background, ability, or social status, has equal access to opportunities, resources, and participation in society.

Mission

Empowering youths, persons living with disabilities (PWDs), disability Rights activist, and human rights advocate through comprehensive, Inclusive Education, therapy services, advocacy, and community engagement. We strive to promote human rights and ensure equal opportunities for all.

A future where every youth and person living with a disability has equal access to opportunities, resources, and participation in society regardless of their background, ability, and social status.

Our Objectives

About our Founder and Director

BETTY NANCY FONYUY

Betty Nancy Fonyuy is a seasoned advocate and expert in the field of special education, boasting over 7 years of hands-on experience as a Certified Behavioral Analyst, Speech and Language Therapist, and Special Educator. Her unwavering passion for empowering vulnerable individuals, particularly those with disabilities, has been the driving force behind her impactful career.

As the Founder and Director of INDEV Network, Betty is committed to creating a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities can thrive. Prior to this, she served as the Director of Timely Performance Care Center for over 5 years, honing her leadership skills and deepening her understanding of the challenges faced by those she serves.

An IVLP alumna, Betty has leveraged her international experience from the USA to inform her work in Cameroon. Through her tireless efforts, she has spearheaded numerous community outreach programs and awareness campaigns to shed light on the rights and needs of persons with disabilities. Her impactful seminars and workshops have empowered countless parents with the knowledge and tools to care for and educate their children with special needs, offering hope and support to families in need.

Betty’s dedication to her cause has garnered significant media attention. She has been featured multiple times on national television, including the renowned CRTV, and has been profiled in international outlets such as Voice of America (VoA) as well as national newspapers like ThePost. Her work has also been highlighted on numerous local blogs.
She is also a prolific social media influencer who utilizes platforms like Facebook and TikTok to reach a wider audience and advocate for the rights of the vulnerable.

A holder of a Healthcare Management degree from the University of Zürich, Betty brings a comprehensive approach to her work. She is a leading figure in Cameroon’s movement to empower children and individuals with disabilities, and her influence is felt far and wide.
